As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, Bosch Rexroth AG deploys the Preferred Supplier concept as an active component in their supply chain management. This concept serves the purpose of developing a world-wide competitive supplier base. It also aims at identifying effective suppliers for the Bosch group, who further on, can be involved in a fruitful and intensive collaboration.

The essential prerequisites for receiving this award are above-average results based on existing collaboration,

further potential of the supplier, organisation of production based on the Lean Manufacturing concept as well as cooperation in increasing the mutual competitive edge.

Mr. Jens Blechschmidt highlighted the fact that this award involves expectations to intensify the collaboration and tap the cost minimisation potential. The cooperation between Rexroth and above-average competent and efficient suppliers like CLAAS GUSS is a key to strive for further enhancing bilateral competitiveness.

With this award CLAAS GUSS has again validated its company policy. The company has been propagating for years to establish a close and early cooperation between the clients and the foundry.
